Merlin is on his way to Sand Hollow Utah to compete in the First Annual Off Road Wrecker Games. He took a risk and is driving his truck, hopefully he can make it without any problems
The film clips that I seen I thank I was right. Merlin and Rory for 1 and 2 Paul and Erick 3 and 4 and Matt 5 . You and tow mator was the biggest supprise of all. Great save from a roll. Rory was as you see him on all his recoverys slow, and no damage , and no trouble on any part that I saw. Paul kind of wild. . I did not see a clip of Erick finish do not know, but what I seen he was doing good. Matt broke , no reverice but did finish . I have not heard the winners yet. I call a foul on the dead tow . each truck need to be on frish ground not pulling in frish dug sand . and did I see matts driver in matts truck and trailer on the flat tow. I seen him let off of the gas in the middle of the tow .
My favorite wrecker by far!! Diesel power forever! Canβt help but notice the EAA sticker. Iβm a native AZ boy with a Kitfox and a Vans RV6. Sux to see the scum devil plate though. Bear down baby!!
Bummer about your tent filling up! I did big tents for a few years way back and we called those 'water bags'. During weddings and events if it was raining we had people on water bag duty. Walk around and push up with a stick to drain them. AWESOME TRUCK!! π€
Another excellent video Merlin. I think you and Eric (BSF) are the only "drive and tows" entered in the games. I thin if you drive there, you get extra points! I can't wait to see the competition video from the games. Keep on truckin'.
Man your lucky that cop knew you cause they're real cocksuckers in searchlight. They have nothing better to do than to set up crosswalk stings with plane-clothed cops. The whole town seems to be funded by their 35 mph zone
Yeah buddy….. you and Cuzin Paul gave the best show hands down. I came all the way up from Louisiana and I'm so glad I did. Actually seeing you guys's rigs in person is way different than seeing them on YouTube. They are much much more impressive in person can anyone can imagine by just watching them on a screen. Mad skills brother. Oh! and I apologize for my previous rating or prediction of the placing. I had it all wrong.
Merlon! I still use the little nightstand that you made in valley highschool woodshop and we traded for I think it was a stereo that I traded from someone else!! WOW, it's been a long time! I was sad I couldn't make It to the wrecker games to say hi and talk about old times!
Merlin love watching your videos I thank you can do anything you are a sharp cookie and have a wonderful day go get them at the Tow Truck Heavy wrecker games have a wonderful day
Sure enjoyed your diesel rig at the games. Hope we see you at future games. Those games are about the only thing that get's most of you caught up on maintenance & other procrastinated projects. Someone does need to distinguish between a pile of rocks & a look at those on top of them. However we got a full pile of rocks but the tops were cut off of your vehicles. I think the big lesson for filming is that the vehicles & then the people are supposed to be the main focus. At the end of the day a good lesson in youtubing is to take a second to show the would-be videographer some instruction.
FYI, if you ever need to take tools through a TSA inspection make sure they are 7 inches or less. I had to do it once so I called my TSA agent daughter to ask how to do it. She did not say, but I did not take any screwdrivers because I knew they would be available where I was going.
Mate, Iβm in Australia. Been a Diesel fitter for most of my life. Love your rig and I donβt really care what everyone else says, there is no sound quite like a decent Diesel engine under load. You have my vote.
Some of us actually realize we live in Pennsyltucky and there aint't nuthin wrong with that. See the proof here: https://youtu.be/t7ek7SWauEI . You owned the wrecker games…
When I was adding diesel treatment on fill ups to my work truck I always used the cap for the proper amount⦠that pre-measure bottle is a nice touch ⦠worth its weight in gold
My wife is from PA, and after the first few times we visited her family in PA I commented that their road signage was so bad I started calling it Pennsyltuckey… I had no other exposure to that word so figured I'd coined it. I may have, however others apparently felt the same and coined it themselves, and I'm tickled pink!
Next year all the Wreckers have to have a HORN…at least as good a Merlin's! That horn got everyone excited! "REALLY NICE JOB MERLIN, YOU SHOWED THEM US OLD'DOGS GOT IT!" ππ
Merlin you were absolutely epic out there! I said Rory had an advantage because of his experience and a beast of a truck. But I never doubted you and the power of diesel and your driving skills.π
I have to admit my original assessment was wrong. I didn't know Merlin had KOH type of crawling experience. From fan videos I've seen of the games, Merlin rawked
Hope to see you on matts channel and him on yours more! I hope yall have a life long friendship now! Man you rocked the wrecker games! I was curious how your rig would do and it was amazing! Didn't know you were such a skilled rock crawler! You and Matt need to do some jobs together!

13.03.2023Even more impressed with this rig. It was doing the work getting to the Games instead of being carted in on a trailer.
