Those dreaded words no kid wants to hear when August rolls around every calendar year. “Back to school.” The long summer days begin to get just a little bit shorter, the air doesn’t feel as hot, and we all know Fall is just around the corner. That being said, we wanted to explore some of the best school settings found within video games. A fair warning.. this list is heavy on Japanese games, because they favor the traditional school setting a lot more heavily than we do in North America. We also limited ourselves to one game per franchise, even though we could make a case for several games from one particular series.
