The National School Games are on, but it’s a scaled-down version with some 12,000 students taking part, instead of the usual 60,000. The Education Ministry said more sports may be included if the COVID-19 situation remains under control, and when more students and staff are vaccinated. For now, competition begins in only 12 non-contact sports, and only for upper secondary and primary students, as well as those in junior colleges and Millennia Institute.
