Its very far but not unprecedented. In the early 70s I played Pop Warner little league football on Fort Bragg. There were four leagues set up by age and weight limits. At the end of the season each league champion played in a "bowl game" 4 games all the same day in the same stadium on Fort Bragg. I once was on a league champion and they sent in a team from New Jersey to play us. And another time I recall a team coming all the way from Hawaii as well to play the league champion. The oldest kids on those teams were probably 14 years old at most 8th or 9th graders. I do remember these games were played on the Saturday immediately following Thanksgiving to at least minimize kids missing school. I do remember the bowl game I played in was in 1972 which would have been when I was age 9.
